Waw, haven’t posted in a long while, sorry about that. So, continuing the New Year’s pictures, we went to spend the day at Ilha do Mel (Honey Island), South Brazil. I had been there before, and it is breathtaking, definitely one of my favorite places to go.
New Year, new resolutions, new perspectives
New Year’s week, and as a tradition my family and I went to the beach to get away from the craziness. The pictures are from Caioba, PR.
All I want to know is how far you wanna go. I’m going back down south now
Those pictures were taken by myself a while ago, in 2004, I was 12 by then and had no knowledge about photography or so. It was wintertime and I went with my bestfriend back then and her parents to a road trip all the way South. Although I didn’t know much about how to take photos, I believe some people just know how to do it, like a gift, they see things deferentially, and that’s what I think I have: The eye. The eye, the view to see things in a different way. And those pictures show that, at least to me. I love them, I love the colors of the analog, I love the peaceful feeling they give and the middle-of-nowhere kind of feeling too. Hope you like it too.

For Corpus Christi’s Holiday, last Thursday, I went with my family to Boituva, country side of São Paulo, about one and a half hour from my home. On Saturday we went to Tatuí (city just next to where we were) for lunch at a famous restaurant in town. I had an amazing time!

Three days in Philadelphia was enough to make me fall in love with that city. So much History in there, it made me want to be american so much, even more than I usually do.
